This curated edition of the show features artists who have written their memoirs including Billy Connolly, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Alan Cumming, Arifa Akbar and Brian Cox.

We are celebrating the memoir by revisiting interviews with artists who have chosen to put their lives on the printed page.   We start with Nicola Meighan's conversation with Sophie Ellis Bextor about her memoir Spinning Plates - Men, Music, Motherhood and Me. This is followed by Billy Connolly discussing his autobiography Windswept and Interesting with Janice Forsyth.  Arifa Akbar, the Guardian’s chief Theatre Critic also tells Janice about her powerful memoir  Consumed : A Sister's Story written after the death of her sister and Grant Stott catches up with Alan Cumming to hear about Baggage : Tales from a Fully Packed Life.  Finally Janice chats to film and theatre legend Brian Cox on his long awaited memoir Putting the Rabbit in the Hat.
