The Dean of Belfast, the Very Rev Stephen Forde, reflects on being Black Santa. 


The Dean of Belfast, the Very Rev Stephen Forde, reflects on sitting outside St Anne’s Cathedral as the Black Santa, with music from the Choir of St Anne’s Cathedral.

For over 40 years successive Deans of Belfast have, in the two weeks before Christmas, sat outside St Anne’s Cathedral collecting donations for a number of charities. In this service, the present Dean, the Very Rev Stephen Forde, reflects on his experience as the current Black Santa. We also hear from those who have contributed, from some of the organisations which have benefitted, and members of the Cathedral community will take part while the Choir of St Anne’s Cathedral will contribute the music.
