Jamie is joined on the show this week by Michael Bublé to talk Christmas, his early days and his approach to songwriting. Plus there’s time for some jazz-tinged festive favourites.

Jamie’s guest on the show this week is the multi-platinum selling, multi-Grammy award winning singer Michael Bublé!

Growing up in Canada, Michael knew he wanted to be a vocalist from the age of 6 – a discovery he credits to his parents playing Bing Crosby’s Christmas album on repeat at home, which made him fall in love with jazz. This year marks a decade since his own Christmas album came out – a record which has since become one of the most popular festive releases of all time.

Michael talks to Jamie about his love of Christmas, how he learnt his trade playing underage in the bars and nightclubs at home, and how he’s approached songwriting in a different way for his new album, due next year.

Jamie also selects Christmas music, old and new, from across the jazz spectrum.
