Lil Peep and XXXTentacion were two artists from very different backgrounds who both broke through on the internet building huge and devoted fanbases seemingly out of nowhere. In this episode we trace back to before they were famous, following Lil Peep's growing interest in music and experimentation as a teenager growing up in Long Island, whilst down in Florida a kid who'd become known as XXXTentacion was honing his freestyle skills in a juvenile detention centre. Though they lead very different lives, right from the start their raw talent marked each of them out and their careers snowballed. They were starting to get some serious attention - but it would come at a price.
