We follow her as she deals with the comical but painfully real anxieties and insecurities of teenage life, along with the stark reality of a home life that is far removed from what she projects to her friends. It’s a place where humour and heartbreak walk hand in hand. Full of Welsh wit and grit and light and shade.

Bethan may have a new love interest and makes a shock discovery about her mum.

With her mum Trina released from hospital and now working with Nana at the local bingo hall, Bethan finds herself free to experience the joys of teenage life. At school, Bethan is full of herself as she tries to make a good impression on new girl Cam, who she has a crush on. However, Bethan’s home life is far from perfect as she becomes ever more combative with her abusive father, Dilwyn.
