Shielings are small dwellings which were used in the past over the summer months when people took cattle and sheep to the higher pastures.  Mark goes to visit Dr Sam Harrison who established the Shieling Project near Beauly a few years ago with the aim of connecting with the practices of the past to ensure a more resilient future, particularly for children.

Have you been noticing the seasonal changes of the trees creeping later this year? We speak to David Knott of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh to find out why the colours of trees seem to be changing much later.

Mark visits with Gourock based artist  Julie Wilks as they celebrate all that is good and great in Scotland through Oil and Canvas.

Mark and Helen also speak with Tomas Lars Hansson who created Oslo’s first ever floating saunas! He hopes they will make their way over to the UK one day.
