Seonaid Aitken celebrates all things strings featuring violins, guitars, harps and orchestras! Expect to hear strings plucked, bowed and strummed including the African flavoured grooves of cellist Danny Keane, violinist Stuff Smith playing a Robert Burns tune in the company of Oscar Peterson and saxophonist Paul Towndrow's collaboration with Scottish fiddlers Adam Sutherland, Laura Wilkie and violinist Greg Lawson. Plus Richard Michael’s Song Book features I've Got You Under My Skin including a piano/violin duet with Seonaid, and saxophonist and MasterChef finalist Laura Macdonald serves up another recipe in Cookin’ with Jazz, tonight inspired by Mark Murphy's Bein' Green.
