Zoe chats to Greg Davies about his new BBC comedy, The Cleaner. Adam Peaty looks ahead to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games plus Faye from Steps on their Radio 2 Live set.

Zoe chats to comedian Greg Davies about his new BBC One comedy series, The Cleaner. Written by and starring Greg, The Cleaner follows Paul ‘Wicky’ Wickstead, a state-certified cleaning technician with a very special field of work - he is a crime-scene cleaner responsible for the removal of any signs of death. Armed with chemicals, scrubbing brushes and cleaning rags, Wicky removes the gruesome mess at the scene of the crime. When carrying out his duties, he stumbles across the strangest of people, from the victim’s relatives, employers, neighbours and acquaintances to occasionally even the murderers themselves. And because he’s a sociable type, he sometimes gossips more than he cleans!

Swimmer Adam Peaty, winner of two golds and a silver at Tokyo 2020, looks ahead to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the opening of the Main Ticket ballot, as well as his time on Strictly. 

And Zoe speaks to Faye from Steps to reveal the next set to be released from Radio 2 Live, a series of exclusive concerts hosted across the UK, to celebrate the return of live music. Zoe’s releasing one fabulous set every day this week, from Texas, Westlife, Steps and Manic Street Preachers.
