On taking time away from the limelight to document his thoughts and life in his journals, he’s now turned these writings into a new book. This act, Matthew says, has allowed him process his journey. 

The Hollywood star famously turned down a $15 million film offer in his quest to undertake more dramatic roles. He explains what gave him the courage to stay strong on his convictions and shape his career in the way he wanted it to look.
