Today, Mark and Stuart chat to legendary DJ Carl Cox and play a selection of Balearic bangers and dance classics, bringing the Ibiza vibes to Saturday breakfast as part of 6 Music’s 00’s All Day Rave.

An influential and internationally famous British techno and house DJ, Carl began his music career in the 1980’s, played the opening night of ‘Shoom’ and went on to DJ around the globe, including a long-running residency at Ibiza superclub Space in the 00’s.

Carl joins Mark and Stuart to chat about his distinguished career as a DJ and producer, his new biography and his love of music.  

With lots of Balearic beats to get the weekend started and warmed up for 6 Music’s 00’s All Day Rave, including tracks from the likes of Laurent Garnier and Layo and Bushwacka.
