Alesha Dixon, superstar TV presenter and bestselling author, tells Zoe about her latest book, Girls Rule. Plus, John Torode lifts the lid on the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Superstar TV presenter and bestselling author Alesha Dixon chats to Zoe about her latest children's book, Girls Rule, a brand new story of sisterhood and strong girls. It’s aimed at ages 10+ and is a fun yet inspirational book for younger readers, featuring the first female, black prime minister of the United Kingdom and life behind closed doors at No 10.  Alesha is a much-loved TV star, who first found fame as part of MOBO Award-winning group Mis-teeq. Her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2007 led to her winning the series and becoming a judge for three seasons. She is currently a hugely popular judge on the UK's number one TV show, Britain's Got Talent.
 
John Torode is a chef and TV presenter. He began his career in London, where he worked at several restaurants in the Conran Group, eventually becoming head chef. John has been credited with introducing Australasian food to the UK in the mid-1990s and is an enthusiast of rare-breed meat and organic food and farming. Since then John has hosted MasterChef on the BBC alongside Gregg Wallace since 2005. John also hosts Sunday morning cooking show, John And Lisa's Weekend Kitchen alongside his wife Lisa.

Along with Adam Porter on news, Richie Anderson on travel and Chris Latchem on sport, Zoe and the team have the best start to your morning. With celeb guests, quizzes, headlines, tunes chosen by listeners and more music that you can shake a glitterball at!
