GB's Lois Toulson and Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix compete in the women's 10m diving platform semi-finals, plus marathon swimming, golf & beach volleyball.

In a low-scoring preliminary round, GB's former European champion Lois Toulson was seventh and BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix qualified 10th. Both Toulson and Spendolini-Sirieix aim to qualify for the women's 10m platform final. In the men's marathon swimming final, French-based 20-year-old Brit Hector Pardoe comes to Tokyo on the back of victory in the Olympic qualifier in June. Dutchman Ferry Weertman is the defending champion whilst Germany’s Florian Wellbeck is the world champion and the 1500m bronze medallist in the pool. Over to the Kasumigaseki Country Club for the women's golf where the world number one Nelly Korda carded a 67 to be just a shot off leader Madelene Sagstrom of Sweden, who posted a five-under par 66. GB's Mel Reid finished on two-over and Jodi Ewart Shadoff a further shot back in a tie for 47. It's women's semi-final action in the beach volleyball where Switzerland's Anouk Verge-Depre and Joana Heidrich versus USA’s April Ross and Alix Klineman.
