Medals are awarded in the women's combined event in the sport climbing.

After yesterday's hotly contested men's combined final, it's the turn of the women. The competitors are looking to become the first ever Olympic champion in this event, but they'll need to find away past favourite Janja Garnbret of Slovenia. Between the athletes and a medal will be the speed, lead and bouldering disciplines, which will pose a huge level of difficulty. Those who are able to conquer the boulders will be in a very good position to go on and take a medal. In its first Olympics, the sport climbing has become a very popular spectator sport, combining speed, pace and skill into a brilliant evening schedule.
