Asim Chaudhry reveals all about the brand new People Just Do Nothing film. The BBC mockumentary series is heading to the big screen with 'People Just Do Nothing: Big In Japan' arriving in cinemas on 18th August. The original mockumentary series, People Just Do Nothing, is about the lives of MC Grindah, DJ Beats and their friends who run Kurupt FM, a pirate radio station specialising in UK garage and drum and bass, in Brentford, West London The series started out as a series of online shorts created and filmed by Asim on YouTube that were so popular that BBC Three’s Comedy Feeds asked them to make a pilot episode, which was then released in 2014, and continued for five series until 2018. Asim stars as failed entrepreneur Chabuddy G in the series.
