Sport climbing makes an inaugural appearance in the Olympics as the handball continues.

Consisting of speed, bouldering and lead, the sport climbing event will combine pace and skill. Speed sees two athletes race each other up a 15m high wall while bouldering sees a number of routes scaled by the competitors. Lead will challenge athletes to climb as high as they can within a specified time. Watch the conclusion of this replay.

The quarter-finals of the men's handball are underway and France and Bahrain meet with hopes of reaching the semi-finals. France are favourites for this match, ranked seventh in the world, but Bahrain will no doubt provide tough opposition. Bahrain are ranked 207 in the world and lost their last group game to Egypt but they will be looking to cause an upset and guarantee themselves a medal match.
