Comedian and writer Andy Hamilton looks at his relationship with politics during his life.

Andy remembers his childhood playground songs, which established his early liking for political comedy takedowns. From 2017.

Writer and comedian, Andy Hamilton shares his observations and reminiscences about his personal life and 40 years working in comedy.

Now Andy shares his political memoirs, from being escorted from the playground in 1963 for singing a rude song about the Profumo affair, through encounters with Jim Callaghan, although he won't be talking about Brexit because life is too short.

Using comic observation and personal anecdotes he examines how much (or how little) things have changed over his 60ish years.

It’s Andy’s thoughtful, social history, but packed with laughs.
