It was the football tournament that defined a decade and 25 years on, Gabby Logan celebrates the music and memories of the iconic Euro 96. Re-live Paul Gascoigne's wonder goal - with the "Dentist Chair" celebration, David Seaman’s penalty heroics, Gareth Southgate’s heartbreak and the song that soundtracked it all, ‘Three Lions’. 

It was a euphoric four weeks that now seem emblematic of their time. A tournament abound with optimism that changed this country’s relationship with its national sport.

As football fever builds all over again in 2021; Alan Shearer, Terry Venables, Paul Gascoigne, David Baddiel and Frank Skinner all share their memories of the last time the UK hosted this big festival of football. 

Through the use of archive news clips and match commentary, alongside some of the biggest hits of the year, we travel back a quarter of a century to the dizzying Summer of 96.
