Janice Forsyth talks to the Director of the Edinburgh International Book Festival Nick Barley and the new Children & Schools Programme Director Rachel Fox on programme launch day.

We will go live to the 74th Cannes Film Festival with our film critic Anna Smith to give us the highlights, buzz and gossip from the famous location where this year Jodie Foster, Director Steve McQueen, Matt Damon and Isabelle Huppert will be in attendance.

Director of the Edinburgh International Book Festival Nick Barley and the new Children & Schools Programme Director Rachel Fox talk about the programme planned for this year’s festival, which will be a mix of online and in person events. 

Anna Welander broadcasts live from the Edinburgh Fruitmarket Gallery, speaking to artist Karla Black who has taken over the newly renovated space with her new exhibition. Director of the Gallery Fiona Bradley and Design Director at Reiach and Hall Architects Neil Gillespie talk to Anna about the expansion of the Gallery. 

It’s Tuesday Review day so this week’s critics Scott Gilmour and Jane Graham talk about BBC Sounds podcast Pieces of Britney, the second series of Central Park – an Apple TV animation starring Stanley Tucci, and the new Netflix series Young Royals.
