Seonaid Aitken is joined by Scottish pianist of the moment, Fergus McCreadie ahead of his appearance at this year’s East Neuk Festival. Plus performances from the Introducing strand of the 2021 Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival including music from an artist who now calls Glasgow his home, Ghanaian born guitarist Nathan Somevi. Pianist Richard Michael has a special Father’s Day selection for his Song Book, tonight looking at the Horace Silver classic ‘Song For My Father’. Plus there’s time for a late night shimmy in your living room as we Dance To The Music, and plenty of Summertime music including tracks from Sly & The Family Stone, Joni Mitchell & Roy Ayers to mark the beginning of a new season.
