Twayna Mayne explores her own experiences of being a transracial adoptee and how it has shaped her sense of identity as a black woman. Accompanying the stand-up series is a roundtable where each subject matter is discussed more fully. Food, stereotypes, class and the phrase "I don't see race".

The first series of Black Woman won "Best Comedy" at the BBC Radio and Music Awards 2020 and is also available on BBC Sounds with an accompanying extended roundtable.
