At this time of year Troup Head nature reserve near Banff can class itself as a sea bird city. Mark visits when the annual bird count is underway.

The Royal Highland Show takes place next week in a somewhat different format – it’s online.  We raid our archives and go back a few years to a Highland Show where Helen got up close to some rare breeds. 

Trips doon the water are in the offing.   We find out what plans are afoot for The Waverley in its 75th year.

Helen meets fiddler and composer Paul Anderson on his home turf in Upper Deeside to find out where he’s drawn to for inspiration.   Paul mentions the ancient art of dowsing so we pose the question to the former President of the British Society of Dowsers – how does it really work?
