Nathan Carter introduces country songs that are connected by the theme of Faith & Church.  Featuring artists like Brad Paisley, Maren Morris, Vince Gill and Carrie Underwood. 

Country Music is all about storytelling and there are subjects and themes that appear again and again through the generations of singers and songwriters.   In this series singer Nathan Carter picks out some of those themes and plays some songs that relate.    There will be old songs, new songs, classic tracks and hidden gems from some of the world’s top country music performers.

This episode of Country Themes today faith & religion - probably the most popular topic, after love & romance, in country music.    Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill will both be saying their prayers while they are out on the road.  Brad Paisley is hoping there won’t be a Long Sermon to delay his plans.
