Former director of the BBC Proms, Sir Nicholas Kenyon, chats to John about the release of his new book, 'The Life of Music,' and takes stock of how relevant Classical Music is to our daily lives. Former transplant surgeon and robotics pioneer, Dr. Susan Lim, talks us through her new piece of music theatre exploring the relationship between humans and robots called 'The Lim Fantasy of Companionship,' which has also been released as an album recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra. John's Classical Connection celebrates American pianist and composer Keith Jarrett. Our Great Music in Irish Houses series continues with an all-French lineup of music by Debussy, Chausson, and Poulenc.
