A man stuck in the mud at a building site in Larkhall tests the skills of the special operations paramedics and firefighters who need to pull him out without causing any more damage to his legs and feet.

In Edinburgh, Kevin and Martyn rush to a patient who has recently had a heart attack and is complaining of chest pain, while in Paisley, Pete and Mark are called to a patient who has been stabbed.

Lauren and Alan are called to a time-critical patient who may be having another stroke and needs to get to hospital quickly for assessment.

And in Broxburn, Moira and Kelly help a palliative care patient decide whether to receive treatment in a hospice or a hospital.
