With the C2C: Country to Country festival in March 2023, Radio 2 marks the festival weekend and celebrates classic country content from the BBC archive, alongside live music.

With the C2C: Country to Country festival in March 2023, Radio 2 highlights the festival weekend celebrating classic country content from the BBC archive, including highlights from past C2C performances. 

Radio 2 will also broadcast from London and Glasgow, showcasing the performances from some of country music's leading contemporary artists and songwriters.

Steve Earle performed at the Town and Country Club in November of 1988 following the release of Copperhead Road.  This was his third album and the one that brought him into the world of Country Rock with classic songs including The Devil’s Right Hand, Snake Oil and the top ten hit Copperhead Road. More than 30 years and 20 albums later Steve Earle was recently presented with the International Trailblazer award at the UK  Americana Music Association awards 2021.
