Surgeon Kevin Lafferty shares the miracles, the tragedies and the camaraderie he experienced in hospital operating rooms as now chronicled in his book ‘Cutting It’.

Entrepreneur Adeem Younis took the rewards from creating a successful dating app for single Muslims in his stride until a journey to his father’s and grandfather’s village in Pakistan made him re-evaluate his life, leading to the founding of his charity, The Penny Appeal.

Tony chats to three people of different faiths about their experiences: Pall Singh, a Christian and director of community engagement charity Building Bridges in Edinburgh; Sydney Switzer, a Jewish community youth worker based in Glasgow; and Adeem Younis, founder of the Muslim dating website SingleMuslim.com.

And on this Mothering Sunday, Adeem Younis, Pall Singh and Sydney Switzer talk to Tony about the lasting influence their mothers have had on them.
