Chats with pioneering and innovative musicians are interwoven with classic archive shows from across the decades, and new performances from the cream of the contemporary Scottish and Irish scene. 

This episode explores the rise of Celtic music in the 70s, 80s and 90s, led by bands like Runrig, Clannad, Moving Hearts and Capercaillie, and we also look at the extraordinary impact of Riverdance.

There are also featured new performances with Moxie, Atlas, Jarlath Henderson and Talisk showcasing their unique musical fusions.
