DJ Edu brings his rich musical knowledge of the African music scene.  
And each week there’s a big interview with star name from music, fashion, football, and more – they’ll be sharing what excites them in music right now. 

This Is Africa also each week features DJ Edu’s Ten in Ten: 10 tracks from 10 different countries in 10 minutes. 
And there’s a focus on new talent every time – the programme will always be introducing up and coming artists from a different African country.

DJ Edu talks to stars from Tanzania and Botswana

DJ Edu talks to stars from Tanzania and Botswana, plus a new 10-in-10 mix of the freshest tracks and beats from across the continent.

Rayvanny is one of bongo flava’s biggest stars. Part of the prolific Wasafi record label, he has spent the last few years putting out hit after hit alongside his mentor and collaborator Diamond Platinumz, each one seemingly catchier than the last. He talks DJ Edu through some of his most famous tracks, including Tetema and Amaboko, and explains why another smash, Mwanza, got him in big trouble with the government in Tanzania. 

Amantle Brown found fame on Botswana’s biggest TV talent show, and now she is a judge on the same programme - but that public profile has caused the R&B star some unexpected problems.

Plus, the Afroboss will bring you his weekly mix of the freshest new tracks and beats from across the Motherland in the 10-in-10.
