Prize-winning author and hip hop artist Darren McGarvey talks about his new BBC Scotland series in which he takes a personal look at the issue of class in Scotland.

Prize winning author and hip hop artist Darren McGarvey will be discussing his new BBC Scotland series Darren McGarvey’s Class Wars. Thanks to the success of his book about poverty, he feels he's now living a middle class life, which has taken him far from his roots in Glasow's Pollok estate, and this makes him uncomfortable, feelings he explores in the series.

Abigail Dean, the author of the bestselling Girl A, already tipped as the book of the year, talks about how as she approached her 30th birthday she decided finally to follow her dream of writing a book.

Janice will take a look at the situations of the three Scottish theatres on the Theatres At Risk register, with Claire Appleby, the Theatre Trust’s Architectural Advisor, Lynn Morrison Executive Director of Leith Theatre Trust, and John Murray, Chairman of Kings Theatre Kirkcaldy.
