The attraction sizzles between workaholic DC Miranda Blake and her laid-back partner Max. They're assigned to investigate crimes in the sunny Balearics.

A murdered food critic becomes a chewy case for Max and Miranda.

Max and Miranda embark on a culinary journey through gastronomic Mallorca to uncover the murderer of the famous food critic Oliver Barker.

After the death of famous food critic Oliver Barker at the equally famous Michelin starred restaurant Son Sebastia, owned by chef Sebastia Serra, Max and Miranda are set on a culinary journey through the gastronomic delights of Mallorca in search of a murderer. Oliver was having a private lunch with close friends at the restaurant when he fell from a balcony and later died as a result of poisoning. Max and Miranda learn that Oliver had enemies, but who poisoned him?
