Janice speaks to Arlo Parks about her debut album and actor David Carlyle on It's a Sin.

Scottish actor David Carlyle on being cast in Russell T Davies drama about the AIDS crisis, It's a Sin. Author and poet Salena Godden chats about her novel Mrs Death Misses Death.

Janice will be chatting to BBC Introducing Artist of 2020, Arlo Parks, about her much anticipated debut album ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’.  Despite lockdown and her first headline tour being halted because of the pandemic, Arlo continued to notch up plays of her music online as well as garnering high profile fans like Michelle Obama.

Russell T Davies’ TV drama ‘It’s A Sin’  about the AIDS crisis during the 1980s is enjoying great reviews and Janice will be talking to one of its stars, Scottish actor David Carlyle who plays Glaswegian, Gregory Finch, affectionately known as Gloria.

Author and poet Salena Godden will be talking about her debut novel, ‘Mrs Death Misses Death’ which on the day of publication has also landed a film option with Idris Elba’s Production company.

‘Circling a Fox’ is a new TV documentary telling the story of actor, writer and producer Matthew Zajec’s father’s life in Poland during World War Two.  The documentary has evolved from Matthew’s internationally acclaimed play, The Tailor of Inverness and Matthew will be talking to Janice about his father’s life and the hidden secrets he discovered after his father died.

We find out from University of Queen Margaret drama lecturer, Robin Wilson and drama student Annie Welsh about the challenges of teaching drama online and how they have approached this new way of teaching and learning.
