Jamie talks to the Artistic Director of the Glasgow Barons, Govan’s Orchestra in Residence and hears about a new online festival Pandemonium.  Plus composer Amble Skuse tells Jamie about ‘We Ask These Questions Of Everyone’, her composition that features at Sound Festival this month.

Jamie’s Album of the Week is titled ‘Violins of Hope’ and it features the astonishing story of a handful of instruments owned by Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. Some instruments escaped Nazi Germany and others were played in the concentration camps. They’ve now been refurbished and brought together in a collection of music and new commissions.
