Dr. Cáit Verling

Is síceolaí cliniciúil do pháistí agus deagóirí í An Dr. Cáit Verling agus sa chlár seo, déanann sí achoimre ar an taighde a rinne sí do PhD s’aici taobh istigh de chúpla bomaite. Rinne Cáit stáidear luachmhar ar na cineálacha tréithe a bhíonn de dhíth ar pháistí le páirt a ghlacadh i dteiripe chognaíochta agus iompraíochta.
Dr. Cáit Verling is a clinical psychologist dealing with children and teenagers who recently took on the challenge of summarising her PhD research within just a few minutes.  Cáit did valuable research into the type of characteristics that are need by children to take part in clinical behavioural therapy (CBT).

Dr. Cáit Verling is a marine biologist who recently took the time to summarise her PhD research findings for the last episode in this series. Emma looked at the unusual behaviour of sea-urchins and made some very interesting discoveries about these little animals living in the waters around us.

Proinsias Ó Coinn gives his guests, who have all completed PhDs, a challenge to summarise their research within just a few minutes. He then gets a chance to explore the wide variety of subjects with his guests in more detail, from biology to engineering and linguistics to storytelling.
