The young man found on London's Putney Heath had his throat cut from ear to ear.

It seems as if it could be suicide though it's not an easy way to kill yourself. But who is he, and if he did kill himself, what drove him to such a dreadful death?

Sergeant Vogel finds it difficult to find any satisfactory answers.
