Sam MacGregor and Danni Diston sit in for Vick & Katie as part of Radio 1's Christmas Presenters for 2020 - a week of new presenting talent taking over the schedule.

Danni and Sam, both based in Cardiff, started presenting together on a community station. Danni teaches at a special educational needs school, and Sam is a social media manager for a tech start-up.

Now they’re making their Radio 1 debut. Sam says it’s “an absolute dream of mine that I get to fulfil; not only alongside my best mate but along with the nation. Sliding up those faders will be the most surreal experience ever!”
