Kate and Jason get excited for Christmas, and welcome McFly to their festive knees up.

On their last show before Christmas, Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad get the party started with gifts, carols and extra special guests.

As is tradition, they have surprises in store for each other, and all the Christmas hymns, carols and festive classics you need for the last Sunday before Christmas Day.

Joining their Christmas party are a band we were delighted to welcome back in 2020. After releasing their first album in ten years, Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry from McFly have stolen our hearts yet again with their pop-rock sound. Some of the band are now parents and they've been candid about the ups and downs of life in the limelight, and the strains on their friendship and mental health. They tell Kate and Jason about an extraordinary year and their plans for a different kind of Christmas. Plus they have a special musical treat recorded especially for us.

One TV programme circled in many Christmas editions of the Radio Times is Call The Midwife. Helen George, who plays Trixie, chats to Kate and Jason about what  challenges the midwives might be facing this Christmas Day, and why she thinks the show has won such a place in the nation's hearts.
