David Frost was the 20th century's most prolific interviewer, a master of conversation with a remarkable talent for getting people to open up and spill their souls. In The Frost Tapes: The Entertainers, Wilfred Frost rediscovers his father's interviews with an A-list line up of musicians (Elton John, The Beatles, and Andrew Lloyd Webber), entertainers and political activists (Sammy Davis Jr., Muhammad Ali, and Jane Fonda) - plus Hollywood stars (Michael Caine, Elizabeth Taylor, and Lauren Bacall). Many of these conversations have not been heard for decades.

In 1987 David Frost spoke to Senator Joe Biden, who was seeking his party’s nomination for president. This is the first time the interview has been broadcast.

In 1987 David Frost met Senator Joe Biden, who was seeking his party’s nomination for president. Their remarkable conversation was never broadcast because Biden withdrew from the race soon after, due to accusations of plagiarising a speech by Neil Kinnock. David Frost's son Wilfred presents excerpts from the original two-hour interview, in which Biden talks about his faith, his family and his hopes for America.
