A brand new version of Fairy Tale of New York, sung by actress Blythe Duff and musician Cameron Barnes, takes a new twist on this classic song. Blythe and Cameron join Nicola to tell her all about it. 

Aberdeen Performing Arts have pulled out all the stops to bring you some of the magic of the stage into your home this Christmas with Reid Robin’s Christmas Bosies, a digital selection box of fabulous performance treats, promising to entertain kids and their families alike. Ben Torrie from Aberdeen Performing Arts tells us more. 

Calling all young budding film reviewers!  If you live in rural Scotland and love your film, it’s your time to shine and show off your review skills.  Leading film education charity Into Film Scotland have launched a competition for film fans aged between 5 and 19 to submit film reviews. Nicola is joined by Kirsty Gallacher to hear more about it. 

After launching its first Spectacle of Light experience last year, Dalkeith Country Park has reopened it's magical after-dark family adventure. Running from December into early January it promises to be a great night out for all the family, with the adults able to join in with all the activities and even get on the play equipment. The Friday Afternoon Show’s Jac Phillimore went along with her family to explore.
