Shakin' Stevens - one of the biggest selling UK artists of the 80s, discusses his new single and album(s)!

You can hear Grant in conversation with Shakin' Stevens, one of the greatest hit-makers in UK chart history and a major national and international star for 40 years. He will celebrate his incredible catalogue this November with TWO albums- “Fire In The Blood” (19 disc complete collection anthology) & “Singled Out” (The Definitive Singles Collection), to celebrate his astounding career.

Author Shar Daws will be on hand too, discussing her new book about five blonde bombshells who made an impact in the 1950s, and he’ll hear from  author Jeff Zycinski; discussing his new book, Travels From My Twilight Zone – a memoir of a Scottish childhood.

Sacha Puttnam, (whose father is Lord David Puttnam - the man behind Chariots of Fire, The Mission and many other great films) discusses his new album, ‘Spirit of Cinema.’ He’s a contemporary classical composer and has scored over 30 films with prestigious directors; he has created a new tribute to some of the great soundtracks to his father’s films for the album. (one of which is Chariots of Fire…Vangelis actually taught Sacha how to play the piano…) 

Grant will also be hosting our Film Hour when film critics Wendy Lloyd & Graeme Virtue will review “Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey,” a fun seasonal Netflix offering for the whole family....

You Cannot Kill David Arquette  - a jaw-dropping American documentary following David Arquette attempting to return to 'wrestling’(!) after his acting career stalls... 

And a contemporary classic; You’ve Got Mail - a romantic comedy directed by Nora Ephron starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in a story of two people in an online romance who are unaware they are also business rivals!
