A rap documentary series with The Rap Game UK contestants FOS and Ransom as they discover underground rap scenes in a kitted-out yellow camper van.

Rap Trip: Underground Scenes Uncovered follows The Rap Game UK contestants Ransom and FOS as they drive across the UK and Ireland discovering the underground rap scenes that are not yet breaking through, but could be next to blow.

They meet rappers who are taking control and finding new ways to push their scenes, whether it’s building a stage in their local pub to perform or driving around Liverpool rapping out of a convertible car to entertain the public. This celebratory and fun series shines a light on pure passion and love for the UK and Ireland rap scenes.

Each episode sees Ransom and FOS travel to a different region, picking up local artists along the way in their kitted-out VW camper van. At the end of each episode, FOS and Ransom will record a freestyle in the back of the car with an artist they’ve met on the way.

FOS and Ransom travel to Liverpool to find out if Scouse Rap is next to blow.

Rappers FOS and Ransom travel to Liverpool. They meet a 16-year-old female drill artist and a rapper from the Wirral who raps about his autism.

Liverpool’s underground rap scene has been bubbling for years, fighting to be heard above the noise from Manchester. But local artists Aystar and Tremz have recently broken through – is Scouse Rap the next big thing? Ransom and FOS head to Merseyside to find out. 

They start with Beyond Average, who have been on the scene for years. They also meet artist SSJ as he tries to put on an event. On a walk around Toxteth, FOS and Ransom meet Gully Man Dred, a local drill artist, and join him for a freestyle. Another Toxteth artist, Pelumi, is doing things a bit differently. She’s only 16 and from a Christian family. The boys meet her as she picks up her GCSE results before freestyling at an underground radio station. 

A trip to the Wirral takes FOS and Ransom to rapper Mal. The life and soul of the party, Mal has autism and strives to incorporate mental health into his music, shouting loud and proud about his love for rap music to the Wirral locals.
