Janice talks to film director Marc Munden about his adaptation of beloved children's classic tale The Secret Garden

On Monday's Afternoon Show Janice is joined by film director Marc Munden to talk about his new adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's much loved children's classic tale The Secret Garden, which stars Colin Firth and Julie Walters.  

Janice talks to two women who have been retraining and reinventing their careers while times are tough in the arts.  

Parisa Urquhart discusses her documentary about one of our most controversial statues - the Melville Monument in Edinburgh - and about Scotland's connections with slavery. 

Storyteller Mara Menzies talks about the real-life hero who helped free slaves from plantations in Jamaica. 

And to discuss the trend for sustainable fashion, Janice is joined by the designer of a new collection of outdoor clothing inspired by Clydeside shipworkers and by the co-founder of a newly launched range of colourful and sustainable pyjamas.
