DJ Edu brings his rich musical knowledge of the African music scene.  
And each week there’s a big interview with star name from music, fashion, football, and more – they’ll be sharing what excites them in music right now. 

This Is Africa also each week features DJ Edu’s Ten in Ten: 10 tracks from 10 different countries in 10 minutes. 
And there’s a focus on new talent every time – the programme will always be introducing up and coming artists from a different African country.

DJ Edu meets Ferow, a charismatic artist based in the US, but with roots firmly planted in Eritrea.

This Is Africa aims to bring you the hottest tunes and the most exciting artists from every corner of the motherland, even those seemingly furthest from the heart of the Afrobeats boom. This week our guest is Ferow, a charismatic artist based in the US, but with roots firmly planted in Eritrea. So far she has collaborations with Sami Dan from Ethiopia and Dremo from Nigeria, and, as she tells DJ Edu, she’s keen to make many more.
