John chats to Irish monk Parasurama, who is helping to deliver thousands of meals across the country to the homeless and those in need every week as he cooks prasadam in his famous “biggest pot in the Western World”. We dip into the archives to hear 5 year old Charlie Hamilton Cooper and his quest to protect our beaches and oceans as he collects a staggering 84 discarded fishermen’s gloves along Tyrella Beach.  10 year old Sadie Norris tells John about how she and her sisters in Stockport came up with the song “My Granny was a Factory Girl” as a heart-warming message to their Granny in Derry to raise money for the Derry Hospice; and Paula McIntyre cooks Lebanese 7 spiced lamb with tomato and red onion salad with mint yoghurt dressing to highlight Love Lamb Week and Zero Waste Week.
