Katie Melua chats to Nicola about her new single “ A Love Like That” and why Album No. 8 is taking a look at love through a different lens. 

Richard Herring has been called The PodFather, and "one of the leading hidden masters of modern British comedy”. He’s known for asking his guests the most awkward and unusual questions and getting some pretty enlightening results, but what has he been getting up to with out an audience? It’s involved snooker, and stones, but we can’t say any more than that! 

For our Make A Difference discussion this week Nicola is joined by soprano Rachel Speirs who is hosting an online concert in aid of SoundUp Arts and Soundup Artists, a music organisation that engages people living with dementia.

This Saturday, The Hippodrome Silent Film Festival (aka HippFest) is presenting 1920 film Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde online.  The screening will be accompanied by regular HippFest musician Neil Brand on piano. Neil joins Nicola to chat all things silent film. 

We take a trip back down memory lane to Blair Drummond Safari Park as the zoo reopens this week. 

And Nicola chats to Pauline Moore about her brand new podcast “Talking Derry Girls” in which she and two pals reminisce about their own time in Derry and how much the series hits home.
