Why a young model and makeup ambassador with Crohn’s disease proudly shows off her colostomy bag and beating isolation in lock down as a pensioner with Engage with Age.

Nick Menhinick came to NI with nothing, not knowing anyone. He tells how he survived isolation as a pensioner and bounced back from the bottom and is now helping others as a trustee with Engage with Age. Model and make-up artist Rachel Nugent talks about how she has managed Crohn’s disease and her colostomy bag by trying to demystifying it by modelling it on show. 13-year-old Rebekah Murdoch shares her passion for the Highland Fling as the Ulster Champion and how she has been flinging around Newtownards at its various landmarks. We get an update with Garry Crothers who is mid-Atlantic sailing solo with one arm, 10-year-old Reuben Shorter reads his lighthouse story which has been animated by Fighting Words and Paula McIntyre bakes steak, onion and ale pie with flaky pastry ahead of Father’s Day.
