DJ Edu brings his rich musical knowledge of the African music scene.  
And each week there’s a big interview with star name from music, fashion, football, and more – they’ll be sharing what excites them in music right now. 

This Is Africa also each week features DJ Edu’s Ten in Ten: 10 tracks from 10 different countries in 10 minutes. 
And there’s a focus on new talent every time – the programme will always be introducing up and coming artists from a different African country.

DJ Edu is joined for a return visit by Nigerian superstar Yemi Alade

DJ Edu is joined for a return visit by Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Yemi Alade, who introduces her new single, Boyz, and there's a look at rising Algerian rapper Rooofa.

DJ Edu is joined for a return visit by Afrobeats superstar Yemi Alade from Nigeria. She introduces her brand new single Boyz and describes what it was like to have all her plans cancelled, including a performance in New York’s Carnegie Hall with Angelique Kidjo.
 
The TIA spotlight falls on Rooofa, an Algerian rapper who is committed to boosting the urban music scene in his country, and who has challenged Arab macho culture and written what could be described as a love song to his father.
 
DJ Edu continues to find hot tracks from unexpected corners of the motherland – this week his 10 in 10 includes songs from Sao Tome and Ethiopia.
