Highlighting the work of nurses in fighting Covid-19

Highlighting the work of nurses in fighting Covid-19.

Today is International Nurses Day.  Their work across the world has highlighted the risk medical professionals have had to take and the price they can pay with their lives.  It's also highlighted a global shortage in nursing staff. We speak to a campaigner for nurses. 

Meanwhile in Germany, coronavirus figures have begun to rise again, coinciding with a relaxing of restrictions.  We speak to a member of the German national COVID-19 taskforce,. And we go to Russia, which is now the third-most affected country in terms of confirmed coronavirus infections.

We also hear from a head teacher in England, where the UK government is encouraging primary schools to re-open in June.
