The search for the next BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year begins!

Bruce is joined by organiser, Lindsay Pell, and reigning champion, Ali Levack, to launch the 2021 competition.  If you’re a singer or instrumentalist aged between 16 and 27 on June 25th then this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Plus Bruce hears just what the competition can do for a young musician's career in the next instalment of Young Trad at 20: Where Are They Now with fiddler and 2006 winner Shona Mooney.
