Joanne Henry and her memoir Mad Mammy, about the highs and lows of motherhood and Lauren and Ryan Fegan from South Down now living down under in a campervan in New Zealand.

John chats to Joanne Henry about how her blog Mad Mammies turned into a memoir about the highs and lows of motherhood.  He links up to a campervan in the North Island of New Zealand to hear how  couple Lauren and Ryan Fegan moved from South Down to down under and what it’s been like  managing lock down in a car park for 7 weeks.  Joe Kenny gives a preview of his live streams of The Joe Show and tells John how as a blind child he learnt to play the guitar in a rather peculiar way.  June Burgess, once an International Show jumping champion, talks about how her 14 horses are used for therapy and how their reaction to people helps with adapting to change and being in command of their environment; and Paula McIntyre’s making the most of rhubarb in season with custard pannacotta with ginger poached rhubarb and oaty honey crumble.
