DJ Edu brings his rich musical knowledge of the African music scene.  
And each week there’s a big interview with star name from music, fashion, football, and more – they’ll be sharing what excites them in music right now. 

This Is Africa also each week features DJ Edu’s Ten in Ten: 10 tracks from 10 different countries in 10 minutes. 
And there’s a focus on new talent every time – the programme will always be introducing up and coming artists from a different African country.

DJ Edu chats to Falz the Bahd Guy and TG Omori about making music videos

DJ Edu chats to Nigerian Afrobeats star Falz the Bahd Guy and director TG Omori about making music videos, and shines a spotlight on Malawi's Patience Namadingo.

This week, we remember those dim and distant pre-Covid days when musicians were busy filming music videos. One of Nigeria’s most charismatic Afrobeats stars, Falz the Bahd Guy, gave us access to two video shoots at the end of last year. We also hear from TG Omori who, at just 25, is one of the most sought after music video directors in the game.
 
Also in the programme, Patience Namadingo: we’ll be shining our spotlight on this Malawian artist who is well established at home, and celebrated for his guitar-based Afrosoul, and deserves to be better known beyond his country.
 
And of course, Edu will be ranging across the motherland and selecting ten hot tracks for his ten in ten mix.
